From current application view, thin client (server based) solution does not satisfy clients because more graphic intensive program be applied. Clients (PC)based solution with full power PC function but a lot of burden of maintenance( caused by virus, system damage, configure change etc) and risk of data leakage.
However based on current technology, we are capable of providing more excellent service in management and security capability to managers/owner in schools, Net café, call center, hotels, military, government, enterprise market where a lot of work stations there and let users feel alike applying standalone station and let manage those stations easily---just like manage thin client system.
